Red Line Safety

What is Red Line Safety?
Red Line Safety was established in May of 2021, however it did not become the growing organization that we currently know it as until April of 2023. Owner John Radecki was given the opportunity to become an American Red Cross Strategic Partner and felt that it was time to take the leap into becoming a contractor-based training organization. When John started to grow the team in 2023, he told himself that we would do things differently than what he had experienced as a contractor himself. John has taken the good, the bad, and sometimes ugly of what he had seen when contracting for others and operate Red Line Safety in a way that our contractors could expect to have the tools they need to be successful, be compensated fairly, feel valued, and enjoy the work they do.

Where does the name come from?
The name Red Line Safety is a nod to John’s past career as a safety professional and his current full-time career as a fire fighter. The red line represents pride in the American fire service. The thin red line is used as a symbol by fire departments to show respect for firefighters injured or killed in the line of duty.
The term “safety” leaves us an opening in the future to offering an expanded portfolio of safety and health training. As we grow we hope to incorporate other educational offerings such as food service safety, car seat safety, occupational safety, and more. While John initially considered naming the company Red Line Safety and CPR, he opted to keep things simple to encompass everything that safety training is and can be.

Who is Red Line Safety today?
2023 started with John bringing on our first two additional instructors serving the Indianapolis area. By spring of 2024 the team was up to five instructors and saw the entrance of our first internal support staff. Our coverage area grew to include Southern Indiana as well as much of the area between our two main markets. We started 2025 with an active team of 15 with several more in the onboarding process. Our goal is to continue to grow to become a state-wide company to meet the needs of all Hoosier communities, as well as expanding service to some of our neighboring communities as well. Keep reading to meet our instructors!
